Davlin Consulting is owned by Tara Davlin. She is the mother of three children, Connor, Cole and Chloe, one very large Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Finn, a crazy Siberian Husky, Aleut, and a baby German Shepherd, Pharroh. In the zoo also lives two Dutch Rabbits, Darwin and Davinci, and 2 fish named Red Fish and Blue Fish. Seriously. All those things live in her home.

In 1998, Tara became a Technical Trainer and taught classes for a local technology company. She then went to work for the Illinois State Police as an Analyst and worked with the VITAL and Sex Offender Registry units. In 2000, she went to work for the United States Government as a Specialist where she was a member of national steering committees for Webcasting, Web Design, Cold Fusion Design, and training.

In February of 2003, Tara left the Federal Government to work full time on her father´s Mayoral campaign where she did web design, application development, volunteer coordination, and media relations. After the successful election, Tara devoted herself to full-time consulting, for both information technology and governmental/public relations. She is also a registered lobbyist and has served as Executive Liaison for the Central Illinois Building and Construction Trades Council.

After a few years working for the State of Illinois, Tara decided to return to self-employment where she would be able to devote more time to her children, and her passion - web design.

Tara donates time to the Animal Protective League, Iles Gifted Magnet School, the March of Dimes, Sons and Daughters of Erin, Rottweiler Rescue, Henson Robinson Zoo, Springfield Youth Council, the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine Foundation, the Animal Protective League, Springfield PAWS, and coaches YMCA soccer - just to name a few. Tara also works as an International Exchange Coordinator for EF Foundation for Foreign Study.

Tara has an extreme love for travel, and has visited over 30 countries. She has a personal goal of visiting at least six countries each year she has never seen. Thanks to all the customers who have helped her achieve this!
