About Karyn Servin Illustrator:
At a very early age I knew I wanted to be an artist. One of the first indications was when I changed the spelling of my name in the 4th grade so that I would be ´different´. Then as the teen years came, I was cursed with bad hair and worse teeth and I found art as my escape.

My formal education came from the Pacific NW College of Art majoring in Illustration. Post college, I spent years traveling the world and creating art. Soaking up the vivid colors of Latin America, the cool blue of the Aegean Sea, and the bold brush strokes of Holland’s Van Gogh.

Professionally I have created work both nationally and regionally. Having spent 14 years as an Art Director and Graphic Designer before fully embracing my goals as an Illustrator. I have created illustrations for Microsoft, HP, Peet\´s Coffee, and Countrywide. Currently I am working on pieces for licensing having just completed patterns for Sock It To Me Socks.
